Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has lauded praise on Paco Alcacer after the Spanish striker has started out the season in impressive fashion, racking up seven goals in six games.
The 26-year-old scored plenty of goals last season as well, netting 19 times in 32 appearances, but struggled with fitness issues and often started on the bench.
"Paco is fitter now than he was a year ago. Playing 90 minutes is not a problem for him anymore," Zorc told Kicker and added:
"He has also put an end to the myth that he can only score when he comes on as a substitute".
Alcacer scored one of Dortmund's goals in their crushing 4-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
