Report: Lewis Holtby in talks to join Blackburn
A move to England could be on the cards for Lewis Holtby who is available on a free transfer after leaving Hamburger SV.
Lewis Holtby could be on his way to England after leaving Hamburger SV at the end of last season.
According to Fussballtransfers, the former Tottenham Hotspur midfield is currently in 'good and intensive talks' with English Championship side Blackburn Rovers.
Holtby made 26 appearances for HSV in the 2. Bundesliga during the 2018/19 campaign, but was suspended from the first-team squad towards the end of the season after he refused to travel to an away game against Union Berlin because he was going to start on the bench.
The 28-year-old was linked with a move to Besiktas during the summer, but a transfer to Turkey never materialized, and he is therefore still looking for a new club.
