Werder Bremen are no longer interested in bringing in Nabil Bentaleb from Schalke 04, says Frank Baumann.

During the summer, Werder Bremen were linked with Schalke 04's Nabil Bentaleb, but a transfer never materialized.
'The Green Whites' ended up signing Leonardo Bittencourt from Hoffenheim instead and aren't pursuing the Schalke midfielder anymore, claims Werder sporting director Frank Baumann.
"That's no longer an issue for us. We brought in a different type of player in 'Leo' Bittencourt, and we feel well-positioned in midfield. We are very satisfied with our squad," Baumann told Bild.
Bentaleb is currently recovering after undergoing knee surgery at the beginning of September.
