Bayern München coach Niko Kovac lauded praise on Philippe Coutinho after the Brazilian international played 83 minutes in Wednesday's 3-0 victory over Red Star Belgrade in the Champions League.
"I think he played a really good game. He brings another dimension to our game with his football intelligence," Kovac told Sky.
Before the game, Kovac said Bayern are trying to make it as easy as possible for Coutinho to adapt to his new surroundings following his move to Munich from Barcelona on loan.
"We try to integrate him here. It's a foreign country, a different culture and he has to learn quickly. We want to give him a home and give him the affection that he didn't quite get in Barcelona last year. He needs affection just like he got in Liverpool, and we want to give it back to him, so he can bring his best performances here."
Coutinho has made four appearances for Bayern so far.
