Eintracht Frankfurt suffered a clear defeat on Thursday as they were beaten 0-3 by Arsenal at home in the Europa League.

However, speaking after the game, Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter said he believed the scoreline was misleading.

"It's a tough defeat to take because the scoreline didn't reflect the performance. We created a lot of chances but a goal eluded us. We were up against the clear favourites in the group, whose quality we've seen," Hütter said, as quoted by Eintracht.

"We'll do our best again on Sunday to challenge Dortmund. We need to take the lessons from this game and learn from them. We need to work on our chance conversion and our self-confidence. The efficiency we had last season didn't happen overnight, either. Expectations are different after last season, which is completely normal," he continued.

Frankfurt will take on Dortmund at home in the Bundesliga on Sunday at 18:00 CEST.
