Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc is aware that it's only a question of time before Jadon Sancho will leave the club.
Dortmund managed to keep Sancho at the club through the summer transfer window, but Zorc knows that the 19-year-old will not spend the rest of his career at BVB.
"Of course, the biggest clubs in the world aren't blind," Zorc said in an interview with Kicker and added:
"No decision has been made yet. You don't have to be a prophet to say that Jadon will certainly not play here for five more years.
"But he's well aware that he has started his positive development here at Borussia Dortmund. I doubt that would have been possible at an English top club. We trust the players very early on and are not afraid to let them play. He acknowledges that," Zorc said.
Sancho's contract with Dortmund runs until 2022. The winger has played nine games for the club this season, racking up four goals and six assists.
