FC Köln chief: 'We're fighting to stay in the league'
FC Köln managing director Armin Veh isn't concerned about a lack of quality despite Sunday's 0-4 loss to Hertha BSC at home.
Armin Veh admits that FC Köln are battling for Bundesliga survival, but claims he isn't concerned.
Despite Sunday's 0-4 defeat to Hertha BSC at home, Köln's head of sport isn't doubting the quality of the squad.
"I see [the quality] in every training session, and it's something I'm in a position to judge after spending so many years in the Bundesliga," Veh told Kicker and added:
"I believe in our team.
"At the moment, we are fighting to stay in the league. But that doesn't make us nervous. We are paying close attention and are not reckless. We will find solutions," Veh said.
Köln sit 17th in the Bundesliga after the first six games of the season.
