Dawid Kownacki out of action with muscle injury
Dawid Kownacki has picked up a muscle injury.
Fortuna Düsseldorf striker Dawid Kownacki will be sidelined 'until further notice' due to a muscle injury, the club have announced.
The striker joins a long injury list which already includes the likes of Jean Zimmer, Alfredo Morales, Kevin Stöger and Aymen Barkok.
"These injuries are very annoying for us. I have never experienced such a large number of absentees in my career before. We have to work to get through this phase," said Fortuna Düsseldorf coach Friedhelm Funkel.
Funkel's troops sit 14th in the Bundesliga table, having won four points after six games.
