Neuer and ter Stegen to share the playing time in October

Marc-André ter Stegen is set to feature for Germany against Argentina while Manuel Neuer will be in goal against Estonia.
Germany coach Joachim Löw has revealed that Marc-André ter Stegen will get the chance in goal when 'Die Mannschaft' face Argentina in a friendly on October 9 while Manuel Neuer will play in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Estonia on October 13.

"We can all be very happy that we have two world-class goalkeepers in Manuel Neuer and Marc-André ter Stegen. I have no concerns at all, especially as we also have the likes of Kevin Trapp and Bernd Leno," Löw said, as quoted by the German Football Association.

"I have spoken with [goalkeeping coach] 'Andy' Köpke, and we agreed that ter Stegen will play against Argentina and Manuel Neuer against Estonia. We discussed that with the players too," he added.

Ter Stegen voiced his desire to play more for Germany last month, admitting it was a 'tough blow' for him not to feature in any of his country's games against the Netherlands and Northern Ireland in September.
