Niko Kovac: 'Hoffenheim's win wasn't undeserved'

Here's how Bayern München coach Niko Kovac reacted to his team's disappointing 1-2 defeat against Hoffenheim.
Bayern München suffered their first loss of the season today as they were beaten 1-2 at home by Hoffenheim.

Speaking after the game, Bayern coach Niko Kovac said he was disappointed that his team weren't able to to follow up on their 7-2 win over Tottenham on Tuesday.

"Unfortunately we couldn't take the good feeling from Tuesday into today - that frustrates me," Kovac told reporters after the game.

"The first half was okay, we created some good situations, but should have played with more determination. We didn't do well in the second half, we made too many mistakes and never put our opponents under pressure. In the end, Hoffenheim's win wasn't undeserved," he added.

Kovac's troops have taken 14 points from their first seven Bundesliga games.
