Franck Ribery has advised Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho and Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz against joining Bayern München at this stage of their career.

The former Bayern player believes the two youngsters would struggle to get into the side at Allianz Arena.

"Sancho is a good player, but Bayern have enough good players at his position. Where should he play? They already have Müller, Gnabry, Perisic, Coman, Coutinho and Lewandowski. There is a lot of competition. I hope Sancho will have another good season. But there wouldn't be much room for him in the Bayern squad," Ribery told Sport Bild.

"What I can say about Havertz is that at his age, he needs to play a lot of games and to gain experience. Bayern have Thiago, Kimmich, Tolisso, Cuisance and Coutinho in midfield. It would be difficult in Munich," he added.

Sancho, 19, and Havertz, 20, would reportedly cost at least €100 million each.
