Werder boss not expecting to make any winter signings

Werder Bremen boss Frank Baumann isn't expecting to bring in any new players in January.
Werder Bremen aren't planning to sign any players during the winter transfer window, says the club's sporting director, Frank Baumann.

"I don't think we'll do anything in the winter. Yuya [Osako] will be back soon, Niclas [Füllkrug] will be able to feature again in the final phase of the season, and Fin Bartels will also make his return. That's why it doesn't make any sense," Baumann told the Weser-Kurier.

"We still have some good attacking players in [Josh] Sargent, 'Jojo' Eggestein, [Milot] Rashica and [Benjamin] Goller. We trust these players who will all develop further," he continued.

Baumann and Werder sit 12th in the Bundesliga table after the first eight games of the season.
