Alexander Nübel on Saturday's derby: 'We don't want to get carried away'

Schalke 04 captain Alexander Nübel has looked ahead at Saturday's derby clash with Borussia Dortmund.
Schalke 04 must remain calm and concentrated to get something out of Saturday's Revierderby against Borussia Dortmund, says Alexander Nübel.

Speaking in an interview ahead of Saturday's derby at Veltins-Arena, the Schalke 04 captain told the club's website:

"The feeling before a derby is different than before a 'normal' Bundesliga match.

"We're going to need the sort of passion and mentality that we have already shown in a lot of games this season. Nevertheless, we don't want to get carried away.

"We will need to remain calm and focused despite all the emotion if we want to get a result. We also know we can rely on the fans to support us and give us an extra boost," Nübel said.

Schalke won the last Revierderby in April, beating their rivals 4-2 at Signal Iduna Park in a memorable match.
