Report: Alex Nübel to either stay at Schalke or join Bayern
Alexander Nübel is set to choose between Bayern München and Schalke 04.
Alexander Nübel will either sign a contract extension with Schalke 04 join Bayern München on a free transfer, according to Sport Bild.
Schalke are desperate to hold on to Nübel, who is out of contract at the end of the season, and have offered the highly-rated goalkeeper a new contract under 2024 which includes a release clause.
But Nübel is stalling on a new deal and is largely in agreement with Bayern over a move to Allianz Arena, as per the report.
Nübel has been linked with the likes of OGC Nice, RB Leipzig, Manchester United, Atlético Madrid, AS Roma and Paris Saint-Germain as well, but he will reportedly either sign a new deal with Schalke or join the Bavarians.
The 23-year-old has made 33 appearances for Schalke 04.
