It's now plausible that Robert Lewandowski will stay at Bayern München after all.

After a weak World Cup with Poland, Bayern München striker Robert Lewandowski now plans to stay at the Bavarian club, Bild reports.

Back in May, Lewandowski's agent, Pini Zahavi, said his client wanted to leave. However, the Bayern bosses have stressed several times that they are reluctant to letting Lewandowski leave.

Still, the 29-year-old striker had hoped that he could appeal to Real Madrid or a club from the Premier League with some strong performances at the World Cup. But following Poland's group stage exit, Lewandowski definitively sees his future at Bayern.

Now, Lewandowski has put his faith in the new Bayern coach Niko Kovac and hopes to achieve his dream of winning the Champions League in the coming season.
