Roman Bürki looks set to make his return after a spell on the sidelines when Borussia Dortmund take on Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
The 28-year-old sat out of BVB's 2-1 win over Gladbach in the DFB-Pokal on Wednesday due to illness, but was able to train today.
But BVB are still sweating over the fitness of Marco Reus (muscle injury) and Mats Hummels (illness) who were also missing on Wednesday.
"Roman Bürki trained today and is feeling good. Marco Reus and Mats Hummels did not. We still have to wait on their progress," BVB coach Lucien Favre said ahead of Saturday's game against Wolfsburg.
Speaking at today's pre-match press conference, Favre also lauded praise on Julian Brandt who scored a brace in the win on Wednesday.
"Julian Brandt stood tall and played a great game from the midfield. Not only did he score two goals, he also effectively helped on defense," Favre said.
Favre's troops will lock horns with Wolfsburg at Signal Iduna Park on Saturday at 15.30 CET.
