Müller, Martinez and Kimmich to start for Bayern against Olympiacos

Bayern München caretaker coach Hansi Flick has announced that Thomas Müller, Javi Martinez and Joshua Kimmich will be in his line-up on Wednesday.
Bayern München interim coach Hansi Flick has confirmed that Thomas Müller, Javi Martinez and Joshua Kimmich will all be in the line-up when 'The Bavarians' face Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday.

"Javi Martinez, Thomas Müller and Joshua Kimmich will all start, but I don't want to reveal any more," Flick said at a press conference today.

Flick has been put in charge for Bayern's upcoming games against Olympiacos and Borussia Dortmund after Niko Kovac was relieved of his duties on Sunday.

"It all happened very quickly. [Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic] called me while I was having dinner with my wife. It was clear to me that I would do this out of loyalty to the club. But it will be a huge task for me," Flick said.

"We now have two games and four intense days ahead of us. We have to make sure that the team will be ready. I'm not planning to do things a lot differently from Niko. But I'll go my own way. We've trained a lot of tactical things," he added.

Bayern lock horns with Olympiacos on Wednesday at 18.55 CET.
