Hertha boss Michael Preetz heaps pressure on head coach Ante Covic
Hertha BSC coach Ante Covic is under increasing pressure.
Hertha BSC sporting director Michael Preetz has heaped pressure on the club's coach, Ante Covic, after Saturday's 2-4 loss to RB Leipzig at home.
Preetz believes Hertha are conceding "too many simple goals" and wants the team to "play with more consistency" in their upcoming matches.
"We're not satisfied. This isn't enough, and things aren't going according to our plan," Preetz told Kicker and added:
"We can and want to do more, and we have to show that in our next games."
Ante Covic was appointed Hertha coach in the summer. The German capital club currently sit 12th in the Bundesliga table.
