Timo Werner has been in great form this season, scoring 11 league goals for RB Leipzig so far, but still finds it hard to keep up with Robert Lewandowski who took his league goal tally to 16 last week as he bagged a brace against Borussia Dortmund.
Speaking ahead of Germany's clash with Belarus on Saturday, Werner praised his Bayern counterpart whom he believes is on the same level as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
"You can't score every game unless your name is Robert Lewandowski," Werner told reporters, as quoted by Bundesliga.com.
"When I score two in Berlin, he scores two against Dortmund, and I ask myself when he'll stop. He's currently in the same category as Ronaldo and Messi."
Lewandowski has scored 23 goals in 18 appearances for Bayern in all competitions this season.
