Serge Gnabry scored a hat-trick as Germany thrashed Northern Ireland 6-1 to clinch the top spot in Euro qualifying Group C, two points clear of the Netherlands.
In their last game of 2019, Joachim Löw's troops rounded off the year in style at Commerzbank-Arena in Frankfurt.
Surprisingly, it was the guests who went ahead when Michael Smith smashed the ball past Marc-André ter Stegen after seven minutes.
But Germany struck back when Serge Gnabry levelled the score with 19 minutes on the clock, banging the ball into the top corner, before Leon Goretzka sent 'Die Mannschaft' ahead shortly before half-time.
After the break, Gnabry added another two before Goretzka increased the lead further with a thumping effort from the edge of the area. Shortly before the final whistle, Julian Brandt got on the scoresheet as well, making it 6-1.
