Official: Bayern youngster Christian Früchtl signs new deal
Christian Früchtl has extended his contract with Bayern München.
Christian Früchtl has put pen to paper on a new contract with Bayern München, the club have announced.
The young goalkeeper's contract was due to run out in 2020, but he has now signed a new deal until 2022.
"Christian is a true Bavarian boy and has grown up here in the club. We're very pleased to have him. He's shown continuous development and we want to continue that together. We're certain he's got a great career in front of him," Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic said in an interview on the club's website.
Früchtl, 19, is yet to make an appearance for Bayern's first team.
