Speaking in an interview with Kicker, the left-back explains he is making good progress in his recovery from a muscle injury.

"I'm moving in the right direction. The way my body feels, playing on Saturday is a realistic goal," Halstenberg told Kicker.

The 28-year-old sustained the injury during Leipzig's 2-0 win over Zenit on November 5 and subsequently missed his team's 4-2 win over Hertha BSC in the Bundesliga on Matchday 11.
