Gladbach boss Max Eberl hints at further contract extensions

After Florian Neuhaus and Laszlo Benes have signed new deals, Gladbach boss Max Eberl is hopeful that more key players will follow suit.
In the past few days, Florian Neuhaus and Laszlo Benes have both signed new long-term contracts with Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Speaking in an interview with Rheinische Post, Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl says that he hopes that more players will follow suit in the near future.

Matthias Ginter and Yann Sommer are both out of contract in 2021 and are some of the players that 'Die Fohlen' will most likely be looking to tie down to longer deals.

"There are a number of players for whom the contract period plays a role," Eberl said.

"There were some priorities, but that doesn't mean that further talks are not taking place in the background," he added.

In their next game, Gladbach face Union Berlin away from home in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
