Hertha boss: Ante Covic will be given time to succeed
Ante Covic will be given time to make things work at Hertha BSC, says club boss Michael Preetz.
Hertha BSC sporting director Michael Preetz has backed the club's head coach, Ante Covic, after a bumpy start to the season.
Preetz underlines that he's willing to be patient with the 44-year-old who took over from Pal Dardai in the summer.
"Every game is important. We have said that it may take time for things to change. We wanted it to go faster. But we see every day how well and intensively the coaching team works. It's our responsibility to support this work and give the coach the time he needs," Preetz told Bild.
Hertha, who face Augsburg on Sunday, sit 12th in the Bundesliga table, having won 11 points in 11 games.
