Dortmund boss backs Nico Schulz to rediscover his top level

BVB boss Sebastian Kehl has made it clear that he 'firmly believes' in Nico Schulz.
Borussia Dortmund's head of the licensed player division, Sebastian Kehl, has asked for patience with Nico Schulz who is still looking to produce his best form at Signal Iduna Park following his €25,5 million move from Hoffenheim.

"I firmly believe in Nico. He's a German international who has done outstandingly in recent years. He's incredibly dynamic and a really good guy," Kehl said in an interview with Kicker and added:

"Nico himself knows that he hasn't reached his top level here yet which has got something to do with settling in at the club and the fact that he was injured for several weeks. He's working hard to get back to that level."

The German international has featured in 10 games for Dortmund so far.
