Official: Yann Sommer signs new Gladbach deal
Yann Sommer has extended his contract with Gladbach.
Yann Sommer has put pen to paper on a contract extension with Borussia Mönchengladbach, the club have announced.
Sommer's contract was due to run out in 2021, but he has now signed a new deal until 2023.
"We are delighted to be able to extend Yann Sommer's contract. For me, he is one of the top goalkeepers in Europe, and with us he is one of the leading players in the team," said Gladbach boss Max Eberl, as quoted by the club.
The 30-year-old joined Gladbach from Basel in 2014.
