Marco Reus: 'We took a great step in the right direction'

Marco Reus has underlined just how important it was that Borussia Dortmund beat Hertha BSC.
Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus was delighted to return to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hertha BSC in Berlin on Saturday.

BVB were leading 2-1 at the break and managed to hold on to the win despite being reduced to 10 men when Mats Hummels was sent off towards the end of the first half.

"It was enormously important that we got three points today. We took a great step in the right direction. But we can't stop here, we have to keep working hard," Reus said after the game, as quoted by the club.

Reus and Dortmund sit fifth in the Bundesliga table.
