- Sancho wants to leave in January. Liverpool are favorites to sign him

The former Eintracht Frankfurt profile Jan Aage Fjörtoft announced on Twitter that Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool are favorites to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The winger has made a solid impact on the field, but the rumors seem to gain even more fire from what's going on off the field.

The BvB boss, Michael Zorg, said a few days ago, that I don't think Jadon Sancho wants to leave in January.

But the 19-year-old has been involved in a number of disciplinary incidents this season and was most recently benched for Dortmund's midweek clash with Barcelona, with reports claiming he was punished for being late to a team meeting.

This caused the former Liverpool midfielder, Dietmar Hamann, to advise that Dortmund should get rid of him as soon as possible.

And today, Jan Aage Fjörtoft, wrote on Twitter that "a very good source in Germany" has revealed that Klopp and Liverpool are favorite to sign him, and that Sancho wants to leave the club as soon as January.

Regardless of the rumors and speculations, everything is still in the hands of Borussia.

Sancho's contract is running until 2022, so technically he could be stuck in Dortmund until then, whether he wants to or not.

But maybe he is doing his best to encourage Dortmund to accept the transfer.

The recent disciplinarian incidents and his estimated market value of around €100.00m could prove to be a dangerous cocktail, where the risk of keeping him against his will might cause both his value for BvB, on and off the pitch, and the market value to drop significally.

Jadon Sancho joined Dortmund, in 2017 after a €7,84m transfer from Manchester City.
