Christoph Kramer signs contract extension with Gladbach

Christoph Kramer has committed himself to Borussia Mönchengladbach by signing a new contract.


The defensive midfielder has put pen to paper on a deal until 2023, the club have announced.

"He's extremely important to us as a footballer as well as an opinionated guy in the dressing room, and we are delighted that we have been able to extend his contract," said Gladbach sporting director Max Eberl.

'Die Fohlen' paid €15 million to sign Kramer for Bayer Leverkusen in 2015. Since then, he has gone on to play 171 appearances, scoring 10 goals and making 10 assists.
