Report: Jadon Sancho unlikely to leave in January after being backed by BVB bosses

Jadon Sancho looks unlikely to leave Borussia Dortmund in the winter after receiving words of support from the club bosses.
Speculation has surrounded Jadon Sancho in recent weeks, with reports claiming that the 19-year-old is considering departing Borussia Dortmund in January.

However, according to Sport Bild, Sancho isn't looking to leave Signal Iduna Park in the winter - and Dortmund aren't interested in letting him go.

The report claims that Dortmund bosses Hans-Joachim Watzke, Michael Zorc and Sebastian Kehl have held talks with Sancho and given the youngster their full support after he came on to score in BVB's 3-1 defeat to FC Barcelona last week.

Sancho was reportedly benched for the game after turning up late for a team meeting, but despite his latest disciplinary slip-up, club bosses and teammates still have faith in the winger and have told him just how important he is to the team.

BVB sporting director Michael Zorc recently said that he doesn't believe Sancho is currently interested in leaving Signal Iduna Park.

"Jadon did very well and showed a good reaction after coming on against Barcelona. I'm not under the impression that he wants to leave in the winter," he said at a press conference last week.

The English international, who scored in Dortmund's 2-1 win over Hertha BSC on Saturday, has made 19 appearances this season, racking up seven goals and nine assists.
