RB Leipzig coach Julian Nagelsmann is looking forward to meeting some familiar faces when Hoffenheim visit Red Bull Arena in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Nagelsmann, who joined RB Leipzig from Hoffenheim ahead of this season, told reporters at the pre-match press conference:

"I know the strengths and weaknesses of a lot of Hoffenheim players, which is obviously an advantage. But they also know my style and how I like my teams to play, so it evens out.

"Of course, it's a special game but we always knew that. Our preparation is the same as it is for any other match. I'm looking forward to seeing a few familiar faces from Hoffenheim again," the RB Leipzig coach said, as quoted by the club.

Nagelsmann was the coach of Hoffenheim from February 2016 until the summer of 2019.
