Köln coach Markus Gisdol expects physical battle with Union Berlin

Markus Gisdol is wary of Union Berlin's physical strength.
FC Köln coach Markus Gisdol says his team will have to cope with Union Berlin's high pressure and physicality to get anything out of Sunday's Bundesliga clash at Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

"Union have played the most long balls in the league. It'll be a battle that could be decided in the air. I don't expect it to be a game for the neutral," Gisdol said at the pre-match press conference, as quoted by the club.

"They don't five teams a minute's rest and always have their opponent under pressure. Gladbach and Dortmund experienced that and lost there. You only have a chance when you battle back," he said.

Gisdol has got one point out of his first two games as Köln coach.
