Werder Bremen coach Florian Kohfeldt hopes to be able to welcome Niklas Moisander back into the line-up when his team lock horns with Paderborn at home in the Bundesliga on Sunday.
The Werder skipper has been out since September, but might be able to make his return today.
"He's looking good. He completed the week of training without any problems and we will decide whether he is fit enough for Sunday," Kohfeldt said at the pre-match press conference, as quoted by the club.
If Moisander isn't fit enough to start, Marco Friedl is expected to play alongside Milos Veljkovic in the central defence instead.
