Klinsmann: Frankfurt deserved their equaliser

Hertha coach Jürgen Klinsmann admitted that Eintracht Frankfurt 'deserved their equaliser' in Friday's Bundesliga game.
Hertha BSC coach Jürgen Klinsmann was disappointed to see his side blow their 2-0 lead against Eintracht Frankfurt on Friday, but admitted the hosts deservedly came back to get a 2-2 draw.

"It was a hard-fought game with plenty to unpack. After going 2-0 up we would've liked to have taken home the three points, but they deserved their equaliser," Klinsmann said after the game, as quoted by the club.

Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter believed his side should have won the game.

"When I look at the statistics I find it crazy that we didn't come out of that with a win. Hertha had a chance to win it through Selke but we really should have won this one," he said.
