Amine Harit signs new Schalke contract

Schalke 04 have extended Amine Harit's contract until 2024.

Amine Harit has signed a New contract with Schalke 04, the club have announced.

The midfielder's deal was due to run out in 2021, but he has now penned an extension until 2024.

"Extending Amine’s contract is a great moment for our club," said sporting director Jochen Schneider in an interview on the club's website.

"He has, of course, attracted the attention of many clubs through his outstanding achievements in recent months. During talks about his future however, it became clear that he knows and appreciates what he has at Schalke 04 and that he feels in good hands with us in every respect,” he added.

Amine Harit said:

"I would like to thank the club and its leaders for always believing in me and coming to me in difficult times. I would like to continue repaying this trust."

The 22-year-old has made 16 appearances this season with six goals and five assists to his name.
