Kingsley Coman will be out of action 'for the time being' due to injury, Bayern München have announced.
The French international was forced off with a knee injury during the first half of Bayern's 3-1 win over Tottenham on Wednesday. He is now expected to be out for the rest of 2019.
After the game, Coman underwent a medical examination which revealed that he has suffered a capsule tear in his left knee. Additionally, he pulled his biceps tendon and jarred the knee joint, according to a statement on Bayern's website.
The 23-year-old has played 20 games for the German champions this season, racking up four goals and five assists.
