Official: Bayern sign Hoffenheim striker

Bayern München have signed Hoffenheim forward Sandro Wagner.
Hoffenheim striker Sandro Wagner has officially signed for Bayern München, the Bavarians have confirmed on the club's website. The 30-year-old Germany international has signed a contract that runs until June 2020.

“I’m delighted. A long journey for me is now at an end and I can return to my home, my club. I’m very happy that it’s come off. Bayern are the best club in Germany and one of the best in the world. When I got the offer, I didn’t have to think about it for long,” Wagner said to Bayern's website.

Bayern have reportedly paid around €12 to €15 million to aqcuire Wagner's services.

Wagner was born in München and played for Bayern before he moved to MSV Duisburg in 2008. Since, the striker has played for Werder Bremen, Kaiserslautern, Hertha BSC, Darmstadt and Hoffenheim.
