Hansi Flick says he 'can't imagine' going back to being an assistant coach at Bayern München now.

"I can imagine a lot of things, but I can't imagine that at the moment," he said in an interview with Kicker.

Flick, who worked as an assistant under Niko Kovac, was appointed head coach on an interim basis when the 48-year-old was dismissed in November and will stay in charge until the summer at least.

"It's a lot of fun, especially in the constellation with this coaching team and their support and working with the squad. We've found a really good team spirit. Bayern München is a club with a lot of power, so I really like this job. The idea of always wanting to be successful suits me perfectly," Flick said and added:

"I feel a lot of trust. There's nothing to stop us from continuing if we're successful. Let's just assume that our matches and results will remain satisfying. And if not, the club will have plenty of time to look for another coach."

In the past, Flick worked as head coach of Victoria Bammental and 1899 Hoffenheim before spending eight years as an assistant under Germany coach Joachim Löw.
