Steven Skrzybski has joined Fortuna Düsseldorf from Schalke 04 on a loan deal until the end of the season which includes a buyout option.
"Steven Skrzybski is exactly the type of player we have been looking for. He has a great mentality and is a versatile offensive player who has already proven himself in the Bundesliga. He is fast, assertive and enthusiastic. We are sure that he can be an enrichment for us right away," said Fortuna boss Lutz Pfannenstiel in a statement.
The winger is now set to travel with the club to their winter training camp in Marbella, Spain.
"It's perfect for me that we are travelling directly to the training camp, so I can quickly get to know the coaching team and my new teammates. Our big goal is to stay in the league, and I would like to make my contribution to that," Skrzybski said.
The 27-year-old has made just a single appearance for Schalke this season.
