Eduard Löwen has joined Augsburg from Hertha BSC on a loan deal until the summer of 2021.
FC Augsburg have announced the signing of Eduard Löwen on loan from Hertha BSC.

The central midfielder has made the move to WWK Arena on a loan deal until the summer of 2021 which includes a purchase option.

"We already tried to sign Eduard Löwen in the summer. We are therefore pleased that it has now been possible to reach an agreement," said Augsburg boss Stefan Reuter.

"Eduard made it clear that he would only be willing to join FCA in case of a move away from Hertha this winter," he added.

Löwen, who joined Hertha from Nürnberg last summer, has made seven appearances for the German capital club this season.
