Diego Demme is on the verge of completing a move from RB Leipzig to Napoli, according to a report from Sky Italy.
The report claims that the Italian Serie A side are willing to sign the defensive midfielder for €12 million plus bonuses. He was reportedly missing from RB Leipzig's training on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old has played regularly for RB Leipzig since Julian Nagelsmann took over as coach last summer, featuring in every game but one under the 32-year-old.
Demme, who was named Diego after Napoli legend Diego Maradona, has previously admitted he would like to play abroad at some point.
He joined RB Leipzig from Paderborn in 2014 and is under contract until 2021.
