Everton loanee Jonjoe Kenny says it has done him 'a world of good' to come to Veltins-Arena.
Jonjoe Kenny believes it has been really good for him to come to Schalke 04 on loan from Everton ahead of this season.
"It has done me a world of good to come here," the right-back told Kicker.
The 22-year-old has featured in every game under Schalke 04 coach David Wagner this season and is thankful for the trust the former Huddersfield manager has placed in him.
"He believed in me even though I hadn't played that many games before. That has helped me a lot," Kenny said.
Schalke have expressed an interest in signing Kenny on a permanent deal when his loan deal runs out at the end of the season.
At the moment, however, the defender insists he isn't thinking about his future.
"It's only January now. There are still many games left to play. I'm not concentrating on the future. I just want to do well here," he said.
Kenny's contract with Schalke 04 runs until 2022.
