Kevin Akpoguma has put pen to paper on a new contract with Hoffenheim, the club have announced.
The centre-back's deal was due to run out in 2021, but he has now penned an extension until 2024.
"'Akpo' is an extremely determined player who has developed into a reliable Bundesliga player after playing for our under-23 team and being sent out on loan twice," said Hoffenheim chief Alexander Rosen in a statement.
"He has a strong character, a clear head and an outstanding mentality," he added.
Akpoguma, 24, has made 10 appearances for Hoffenheim this season.
