Still plenty of room for improvement for Breel Embolo

Gladbach boss Max Eberl says Breel Embolo is 'definitely not at the end of his development'.
Breel Embolo has done well at Borussia Mönchengladbach following his move from Schalke 04 last summer, but still has a lot of room for improvement, sporting director Max Eberl and head coach Marco Rose have underlined.

"His first six months with us have shown that Breel is finding his rhythm. You have been able to see many of his strengths: his physicality, his presence and his ability to score goals as well. But he's definitely not at the end of his development," Max Eberl told Kicker.

Marco Rose points out that the 22-year-old could improve his decision making on the pitch.

"Breel is extremely versatile in all areas and already has a lot of quality, especially in terms of dynamics. But he still has a lot of room for improvement. For him, it's about getting to the point and to make the right decision," Rose said and added:

"When should he come short, and when should he run in behind? How does he create space for himself? How does he become even more dangerous in front of goal? We are working on that. I think there will be a lot more to come from him in the coming years, so there's something to look forward to."

Embolo has played 20 games for Gladbach so far with six goals and two assists to his name.
