Timo Werner reveals desire to play in England in the future

RB Leipzig star Timo Werner says he isn't considering leaving RB Leipzig right now, but could see himself playing in the English Premier League in the future.
Timo Werner says he isn't thinking about leaving RB Leipzig at the moment, but admits he could see himself playing abroad in the future.

Speaking in an interview with Bild, the 23-year-old reveals he's particularly attracted to the English Premier League.

"I'm not interested in a transfer at the moment," Werner said and added:

"At some point, it would certainly be attractive to play in a foreign country. I like playing when it's raining, so England wouldn't be a bad destination in general.

"You have to honestly say that the Premier League is simply the most interesting league. There is a certain flair about watching and playing in the English league," Werner underlined.

Werner extended his contract with RB Leipzig until 2023 in August.
