Michael Gregoritsch: 'It was a perfect night for me'
Michael Gregoritsch was happy with his first game in a Schalke shirt.
Michael Gregoritsch got off to an excellent start at Schalke 04 as he scored and made an assist in his new team's 2-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Friday.
Speaking after the game, the Augsburg loanee told Schalke's website:
"It was a perfect night for me. First game, first win, first goal. I'd rather not share what went through my mind after I missed my first chance. I could have scored then. But, it was part of my plan to score in front of the Nordkurve during the second half (laughs). It was definitely an amazing feeling to score in front of that stand."
Gregoritsch played just seven games for Augsburg this season before joining Schalke on loan.
