Timo Werner said RB Leipzig showed what they are made of in the second half of Saturday's game against Union Berlin.
'Die Roten Bullen' were trailing 0-1 at the break, but turned the game around to win 3-1 thanks to a Werner brace and a goal from Marcel Sabitzer.
"We proved ourselves in the second half today. We weren't satisfied with our performance and wanted to step things up. We did that against Augsburg before Christmas as well," Werner said after the game, as quoted by the club.
Werner has now scored 20 goals in 18 league appearances for the Bundesliga leaders this season.
