Michael Zorc: Everyone can see why the half of Europe wanted Erling Haaland

BVB boss Michael Zorc waxes lyrical about Erling Haaland.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has hailed Erling Haaland for the impact he has made at Signal Iduna Park following his move from RB Salzburg earlier this month.

Dortmund saw off competition from plenty of top clubs to land Haaland, who has made an instant impact in Germany, scoring five goals in his first two games.

"Everyone can see why the half of Europe were chasing Erling. He has got everything a good striker needs. He has robustness, speed and a particular mentality," Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten and continued:

"The boy gets annoyed every time a cross doesn't reach him - even in training. It's just really fun to watch him work.

"The way he performs and excites the fans is great - and it would be nice if it continues like this," Zorc said.

Haaland will look to continue his excellent form when Dortmund take on Union Berlin on Saturday.
