Matthäus praises Flick's 'dominant, aggressive and determined' Bayern team

Lothar Matthäus is very impressed with the way Bayern München are playing under Hansi Flick.
Lothar Matthäus believes Hansi Flick has made Bayern München look 'dominant, aggressive and determined'.

The former German international is really impressed with the impact Flick has made at the Bavarian club since taking over as coach from Niko Kovac in November.

"Under Hansi Flick, Bayern München are more dominant, aggressive and determined than they've been for years," Matthäus wrote in a column for Sky and continued:

"They're playing with will, but also with a clear game idea, ease, harmony as well as an understanding of the game and a team spirit on the pitch that is absolutely impressive."

Bayern München have won their first two games of 2020 in convincing fashion, beating Hertha BSC 4-0 in Berlin before taking a 5-0 victory over Schalke 04 at Allianz Arena.
