Niklas Süle remains 'optimistic' that he will be fit for Euro 2020, says Bayern's team doctor

Niklas Süle still believes he can be fit to play at Euro 2020, says Bayern München team doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.
Niklas Süle remains 'optimistic' that he will be fit for this summer's European Championship, says Bayern München club doctor Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt.

The German international is in a battle with time as he recovers from a cruciate ligament rupture suffered in October.

"The player himself is optimistic. We'll have to wait and see how he develops and not push him too much. First of all, he has to get healthy. I have spoken with [Germany coach] Joachim Löw, and there is no pressure," Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt told Sport Bild.

Süle, 24, has made 24 appearances for Germany.
